Greg and Sharon Gould

Greg and Sharon have set out to create an unparalleled environment of music education. Focusing on a "hands on" approach, they strive to develop every student based on their individual needs. This is only possible through direct and constant communication with the students, the families, and all of the instructors. The company is more like a family than a business to the Gould's and nothing is more important than a positive, well run-working environment where everyone feels appreciated for their contributions. Fostering and developing every instructor's talents is the main way that they are able to help every instructor do the same for their students.

Director of Operations - Primary Piano Instructor

Music has played an active part in Pam's life for the past 18 years, since she began playing the piano. Since that time, Pam has been lucky to train under many talented instructors and receive in depth classical and theory training. She also began singing when she was 12 and enjoys finding ways to merge the two instruments.

Pam continued her musical training at Capital University where she participated in musical theater for 6 years, both while she was a student and as an alumni. During this time she accompanied, sang, and music directed for the program.

Pam's teaching experience has been multi-faceted over the past 6 years. Since she was a student she has taught independently, with Columbus Children's Theater, and also at a private early childhood education facility. She has been teaching piano and voice with GnG Music Instruction since 2008 and is very excited to be managing the operations for all 6 divisions of the company.  In addition to all of that, she continues to enjoy teaching her private lessons and group classes.

Director of Outbound Programs - Primary Strings Instructor

Alyssa has been playing music since the age of five and through her interest she has learned to play and love many instruments. She began by playing piano and then broadened her sights to cello, violin, flute, and guitar. Alyssa’s love of music led her to earn her bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from Capital University.

Alyssa went on to develop her own cello studio where she worked with Southwestern City Schools and Pickerington Local Schools. She also began working with toddler groups at her church and instructed young children at the YWCA.

In 2011, Alyssa joined GnG Music Instruction and began teaching in local homes and at the New Albany studio. Her knowledge of music and love for children were able to be combined in the Outbound Programs at several local daycares and early learning centers. Alyssa helped pioneer the Outbound Program, working with several local facilities and offering supplemental music classes for their preschool and early elementary classes. Making music a fun experience for all ages is her goal!
